disaster-recovery deployments
Who we are

Bring your team on the water
Sponsorship can also include a memorable team-building experience. Bring your team into a six-person canoe for Polynesian-style paddling on the Delaware Bay, guided by our coaches. It is a powerful way to build trust, communication, teamwork and a little healthy competition.
Give any amount
Not ready to sponsor? Every gift supports the race, the canoes and the community work behind this ministry. No amount is too small.
Meet the club
New Hope Canoe Club Ministry Atlantic is the Delaware sister club to New Hope Oʻahu’s canoe ministry in Hawaiʻi, founded in 2000.
We are affiliated with ECORA and led by Head Coach David Schofield, who paddled for 16 years in Hawaiʻi before bringing the sport to Lewes after a career with NOAA Fisheries.
We compete with purpose, serve generously and seek to live the spirit of Aloha in and out of the canoe.
